New 1551W: Watertight Enclosure from Hammond
The latest extension to the very comprehensive 1551 family of miniature enclosures are the 1551W IP68 sealed units. All available with a plain or flanged lid, the UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosures are suitable for use inside or outside.
Enclosures are available in black and grey with a soft texture finish, all are fitted with PCB stand-offs in the base and the shaped silicone sealing gasket provides excellent protection against the ingress of dust or water, protecting the housed electronics.
The sealed IP68 1551W features
- Five sizes from 60 mm x 35 mm x 22 mm to 100 mm x 50 mm x 24 mm
- All sizes available with a plain or flanged lid
- Sealed to IP68 by a preformed silicone gasket
- Moulded from robust UL94 V-0 flame-retardant polycarbonate
- Suitable for outdoor or indoor use
- Available in black or grey
- Satin texture finish
- PCB stand-offs in the base
- Self-tapping screws secure the lid to the base
